The library has created a number of Research Guides to help students find resources that they need. Most of these guides are created for a specific topic or discipline. Instructors may embed a guide within their Canvas page, utilizing an external tool called "Library Subject Guides and Resources" within a Module.

The University of Minnesota Libraries allows us to access a platform called Pressbooks, which allows UMN users to create their own books in accordance with some guidelines. Instructors, therefore, have the freedom to build a textbook. Once you have a book created, you can easily embed it into your Canvas course. Instructions for this process may be found here.
