Mammalian Species - Published by the American Society of Mammalogists, this journal consists of more than 900 monographs on individual species. Each monograph provides a thorough analysis of the biological knowledge of a species, including taxonomy, ecology, and conservation status. This publication is online available from BioOne, Jstor, and Ebsco MegaFile. Print issues from 1969 - 2005 are available on the second floor of the library at UMC at 599.97 M311.

Journal of Mammalogy - Also published by the American Society of Mammalogists, this highly respected international scientific journal is produced 6 times per year and promotes interest in mammals throughout the world by the publication of original and timely research on all aspects of the biology of mammals. This publication is available online from BioOne and Jstor. Print issues from 2001 through 2018 are available in the library. Ask at the front desk for access to these issues.
